Nine gentle meditations, one for every month of your pregnancy — helping you relax, ease your mind, and feel closer to your baby, long before you meet them. Rooted in the ancient practice of Garbha Sanskar.

Nine months. Nine connections. One relationship that begins long before birth.

About This Journey: –

At MyDvija, we believe pregnancy isn’t just preparation for childbirth — it’s preparation of the heart. Nine Months, Nine Connections is our guided meditation series rooted in Garbha Sanskar, the centuries-old Indian practice of nurturing a baby’s mind and spirit even before birth.

What’s Included: –

  • 9 guided audio meditations — one for every month of pregnancy, each 10–20 minutes long.
  • Calm, narrator-led sessions you can listen to anywhere — no visuals or equipment needed.
  • Month-specific themes, from early gratitude practices to third-trimester birth preparation.
  • Built-in positive affirmations for each stage of pregnancy.
  • Partner-friendly sessions designed to be practiced together in later months.
  • Downloadable audio — practice at home, during your commute, or before sleep.
  • Grounded in Garbha Sanskar philosophy, blending ancient tradition with modern mindfulness.

Who It’s For: –

  • First-time mothers navigating pregnancy for the first time.
  • Expecting couples who want to bond with their baby together.
  • Mothers seeking a calmer, more mindful pregnancy.
  • Women practicing or curious about Garbha Sanskar.
  • Anyone wanting a deeper emotional connection with their unborn baby.

Why It Matters: –

Every kick, every quiet moment of stillness, every soft word spoken to your belly — these are the first threads of a lifelong bond. Nine Months, Nine Connections helps you slow down and be present for them, one month at a time.

Because every beautiful relationship begins long before birth.

The Nine-Month Curriculum: –

A closer look at each month’s meditation, theme, and suggested practice.

Month 1 — “The Connection of Beginnings”: –

Theme: Gratitude, acceptance, and welcoming new life.

As pregnancy begins, the body and mind are adjusting to enormous change — often before it feels “real.” This meditation centers on gratitude for conception and gently welcoming the baby’s presence, even before any physical signs are visible.

Suggested Practice: Best practiced first thing in the morning, in a quiet seated position. 10–12 minutes. Focus on slow abdominal breathing and a simple silent affirmation: “I welcome you with love.”

Month 2 — “The Connection of Awareness”: –

Theme: Emotional bonding and inner stillness.

As early pregnancy symptoms (fatigue, nausea, mood shifts) begin, this meditation helps mothers stay emotionally steady and begin noticing their inner relationship with the baby, even without physical sensation yet.

Suggested Practice: Practice lying down or reclining, 12–15 minutes, ideally when nausea is lowest (often evening). Includes body-scan relaxation followed by a short gratitude journaling prompt after the audio ends.

Month 3 — “The Connection of Positivity”: –

Theme: Releasing anxiety, building confidence as the first trimester closes.

Many mothers carry anxiety through the first trimester. This session focuses on replacing fear with positive affirmation and easing into the more stable second trimester ahead.

Suggested Practice: 10–15 minutes, seated or reclined. Includes affirmation repetition (e.g., “My body knows how to nurture this life”) paired with slow exhale-focused breathing to calm the nervous system.

Month 4 — “The Connection of Sound”: –

Theme: Introducing sound and vibration as baby’s hearing begins developing.

This is often the month mothers are told the baby is beginning to sense sound and vibration. The meditation introduces gentle humming, soft music, or the mother’s own voice as an early communication tool.

Suggested Practice: 15 minutes, anytime, ideally with one hand resting on the belly. Encourage humming along with the audio’s gentle tones, and speaking a few soft words aloud to the baby after the session.

Month 5 — “The Connection of Movement”: –

Theme: Joy and presence, as many mothers begin to feel the baby move (quickening).

Feeling the first flutters is often deeply emotional. This meditation helps mothers pause and consciously connect each time they notice movement, turning it into a bonding ritual rather than a passing sensation.

Suggested Practice: Short, flexible sessions (8–10 minutes) that can be repeated throughout the day whenever movement is felt. Includes a light visualization of “meeting” the baby through touch.

Month 6 — “The Connection of Values”: –

Theme: Visualization and the traditional Garbha Sanskar practice of instilling positive values.

Rooted in Garbha Sanskar philosophy, this session introduces gentle visualization of positive qualities the mother wishes to nurture in her child — kindness, courage, wisdom — through calm mental imagery.

Suggested Practice: 15–18 minutes, in a peaceful, distraction-free space. Best practiced consistently at the same time each day to build a ritual. Includes optional soft instrumental or devotional background music.

Month 7 — “The Connection of Strength”: –

Theme: Physical and emotional resilience as the body carries more weight and prepares for the third trimester.

This meditation addresses the physical discomfort and emotional fatigue common in month seven, helping mothers reconnect with their own strength and stay grounded.

Suggested Practice: 12–15 minutes, using supported reclining positions (with pillows) for comfort. Emphasizes breath-led relaxation for the lower back and hips, paired with affirmations of physical resilience.

Month 8 — “The Connection of Preparation”: –

Theme: Mental and emotional readiness for birth.

As the due date approaches, anxieties about labor often surface. This session helps mothers mentally prepare, release fear of the birthing process, and build trust in their body.

Suggested Practice: 15–20 minutes, ideally done with a partner present if possible. Includes guided breathing techniques that can double as early labor breathing practice, plus a calming visualization of a peaceful birth.

Month 9 — “The Connection of Union”: –

Theme: Surrender, anticipation, and the final emotional bond before meeting the baby.

The final meditation is a reflective closing of the journey — honoring the nine months of connection and preparing the heart for the moment of birth and first meeting.

Suggested Practice: 15–20 minutes, at any comfortable time, ideally in the final weeks. Includes a guided reflection looking back on the pregnancy journey, followed by a closing affirmation: “I am ready to meet you.”

General Practice Guidelines: –

  • Consistency over duration: A daily 10-minute practice is more effective than occasional longer sessions.
  • Comfortable environment: Quiet space, comfortable seating or reclining, minimal distractions.
  • Partner involvement: Months 4, 5, 8, and 9 work especially well as shared practices with a partner.
  • Flexible timing: While a consistent time of day helps build ritual, sessions can be adapted around nausea, fatigue, or energy levels.
