I Am Krishna And I Am Kansa (Finding Happiness in the Little Things)

Finding Happiness in the Little Things

Yesterday was an outing day filled with pure satisfaction and simple joy.
It reminded me how beautiful life becomes when we notice happiness in the smallest moments — a smile, a conversation, a shared laugh.

When the Body Speaks — Fatigue & a Fading Voice

By the end of the day, my voice felt strained from endless talking, and my body grew tired.
Sometimes, joy and exhaustion walk hand-in-hand.

An Unexpected Emotional Outburst

Night brought something I didn’t expect — a sudden emotional release.
I felt like crying, and I did.
In recent times, my tears have flowed mostly from gratitude or happiness…
But yesterday, after a very long time, I cried from a place of heaviness and negative emotions.
It churned something deep inside me — a reminder that healing isn’t always linear.

The Mind’s Game Choosing Thoughts That Shape Our Life

As the emotions settled, my mind tried to pull me into its old patterns.
But I remembered something powerful:

It is me who decides what my dominant thoughts and feelings will be.
And these thoughts create my moments, my days, my weeks — and ultimately, my life.

This awareness itself becomes strength.

What Krishna Teaches Us Playfulness, Power & the Purpose of a Divine Life

When I reflect on Krishna, I see a beautiful message:

  • He was playful.
  • He loved unconditionally.
  • He was a warrior when needed.
  • He held divine powers.

His purpose on Earth was very clear — and he was equipped with exactly what he needed to fulfil it.
But imagine this:

Would his life have been meaningful or interesting if…

  • Kalia, the serpent, had never come to the village?
  • He never stole butter?
  • No demons ever challenged him?

Probably not.

Krishna explored every shade of life — with a smile.

Challenges didn’t dim his spirit; they added colour to his journey.
They helped him express the fullness of who he was meant to be.

 The Message For Us

Every experience — joy, exhaustion, emotional breakdowns — is part of our own story.
Just like Krishna, we are meant to explore all shades of life, not just the pleasant ones.

Because how we feel and what we think in these moments determine the life that unfolds ahead.

The Symbolism of Kansa : Power Without the Right Emotions

Who Kansa Represents

Kansa was a king — powerful, knowledgeable, strong, and surrounded by influential people.
In many ways, he was far more equipped than Krishna, who grew up in a simple village environment.

Yet there was one thing Kansa lacked:
The right feelings and emotions.

Fear as His Driving Force

Fear and uncertainty controlled him.
Because of fear, he imprisoned his own sister.
Because of fear, he misused his power.

Imagine if…

  • He trusted the Akashwani prophecy,
  • He didn’t react out of insecurity,
  • He used his resources for the good of humanity —

…the entire story of his life would have changed.

Kansa had everything, but his emotions ruled him in the wrong direction.

Krishna vs. Kansa : The Choice We Make Every Day

Life gives me the opportunity to choose:
✨ To be Krishna — choosing what is right even when it is difficult.
❌ Or to be Kansa — choosing what feels easy, fearful, or convenient even when it is wrong.

This choice is not made once.
It is made every day, every minute, every moment.

Everyday Moments of Choice Where the Mind Plays Its Games

🕔 5:15 AM — Alarm Rings

Mind says: “Snooze.”
Heart knows: “Get up — that’s the right choice.”

🏃‍♀️ 5:40 AM — Exercise Time

Body pain whispers: “Skip today.”
Inner strength says: “Push through, you will feel better.”

🧘‍♀️ 6:20 AM — Meditation Time

Mind tempts: “Just 20 more minutes of sleep.”
Wisdom answers: “Sit. This silence will give you energy, not sleep.”

And so it continues…
Choice after choice…
Moment after moment…

What Truly Shapes Life Dominating Thoughts & Feelings

Every moment of life gives me two options:
1️⃣ React with fear, insecurity, laziness (the Kansa within)
2️⃣ Respond with clarity, purpose, and love (the Krishna within)

Yes — there will be slips, falls, and wrong choices.
But what matters is:
GET BACK.
Know what is right.
Accept, correct, and move forward.

Kansa will rise within us once in a while — doubts, anger, fear, avoidance.
But we must choose who dominates our inner world.

Carrying Krishna Within Becoming a Blessing to Yourself & Others

Let’s choose to carry Krishna inside us:

  • A lover
  • A giver
  • A warrior
  • A calm, wise force
  • A blessing to people around us

Because when Krishna dominates our thoughts, our life becomes aligned, purposeful, and beautifully lived.
