What Garbhasanskar Is, and What It Isn’t: –
The word is Sanskrit. Garbha means womb, and sanskar means the impressions that shape a person. So let’s keep the idea simple and honest.
- Garbhasanskar is a centuries-old Indian practice of nurturing a baby’s mind and spirit before birth.
- It uses calm, positive practices such as meditation, chanting, music, gentle movement and talking to your baby.
- Slow breathing and meditation can help you feel calmer, so they support your own wellbeing in pregnancy.
- We don’t promise that it changes your baby’s intelligence or future, because no one can promise that.
- What it can offer is a stronger, calmer you and a closer bond with your baby, which is a gift on its own.
That honest middle ground is exactly where this course sits. If you’d like to read more first, start with our blog What Is Garbhasanskar & Why Every Expecting Parent Should Know It.
Our 100 Days Garbhasanskar Course at a Glance: –
- The course has 55 live online sessions spread across 100 days, held on Zoom.
- Shrreya Shah and Ishita Vora lead it, so you learn from a childbirth educator and a certified antenatal fitness trainer.
- It is designed for expecting couples in the first trimester and early pregnancy, and it carries you through the second trimester.
- It blends fitness, meditation, couple sessions and ancient therapies in one plan.
- You also get weekly guided meditation tracks that you can play whenever you like.
- Bonus pregnancy recipes and two complimentary books come with it.
- It’s a live batch course, so you learn with other expecting parents and can ask your questions.

Who This Garbhasanskar Course Suits: –
It suits expecting couples in the first trimester or early pregnancy who want to start well. It also suits first-time mothers who would like guidance from real teachers, and partners who want to be involved from the beginning. If you’d like a stronger body, a calmer mind and a closer bond with your baby, you’ll feel at home here.
And Who It Might Not Suit: –
We’d rather be honest than sell you something that doesn’t fit.
- If you hope it will replace medical care, please keep your regular check-ups, because this course supports your health but doesn’t replace your doctor.
- Please check with your doctor before you start any pregnancy exercise, especially if you have a high-risk pregnancy or any complication.
- If you prefer to learn at your own pace, choose the self-paced 9 Months – 9 Connections audio course instead.
- If you are in your last trimester, our Womb to World programme fits you better.
- When you feel very low, hopeless or overwhelmed for days, speak to your doctor, because that deserves proper care.
Three Gentle Practices to Begin Tonight: –
These are small first steps, not the full course.
- Breathe slowly for five minutes. Sit comfortably, rest a hand on your belly, and breathe out for longer than you breathe in.
- Talk to your baby together. Ask your partner to rest a hand beside yours and say one kind sentence, such as “We are so happy you’re here.”
- Write one line. Note how you felt today, so you can look back on it later.
If you ever feel dizzy, stop and rest. For a free place to begin, try our Sunday meditation sessions.
Support Beyond the Course: –
Our Dvija To Be Mom’s Diary gives you a lovely place to write your thoughts, and partners can use the To Be Dad’s Diary.
You can also browse our Pregnancy Special range and the traditional Dvija Cow Ghee (Vedic Style) from the MyDvija kitchen. After the birth, our free Post Delivery Emotional Management course and our online breastfeeding course continue the journey.
Want more reading while you wait? Try Folic Acid Before Pregnancy and Iron Deficiency in Women. You can also take MyDvija with you through the Android app or the iOS app.
Garbhasanskar Course – Your Questions: –
Is it live or recorded? The sessions are live on Zoom. The weekly guided meditation tracks are pre-recorded, so you can use them any time.
When should I join? The course is designed for the first trimester and early pregnancy, and it runs through the second trimester. Later in pregnancy, our Deliver With MyDvija and Womb to World programmes fit better.
Can my partner join? Yes. Four couple sessions are made for you to do together.
Do I need any experience or equipment? No. Your coaches guide every session, so you don’t need past practice in yoga, fitness or meditation.
Is it only for first-time mothers? No. It also suits second-time mothers, couples, and anyone who wants a stronger body and a deeper bond with their baby.
Will it make my baby smarter? No one can promise that. However, the course can help you feel calmer, stronger and more connected, which matters in itself.
Is the exercise safe in pregnancy? The fitness sessions are led by a certified antenatal trainer, but please get your doctor’s approval before you begin.
I still have questions. Book a free 5-minute enquiry call with the MyDvija team, or a 30-minute consultation with Shrreya Shah.
A Gentle Safety Reminder: –
- Keep your regular prenatal check-ups, because this course supports your care but doesn’t replace it.
- If you notice heavy bleeding, severe pain, leaking fluid or less baby movement, call your doctor right away.
- Stop any exercise or practice that makes you feel dizzy or unwell, and tell your doctor.
